I’m happy to announce Fraser Simons will be running some games on Gauntlet Hangouts! Fraser has been an active member of the community for awhile now, and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him at my own Gauntlet Hangouts games for the last month or so. He’s an awesome guy, and I’m really excited he’s going to run some games for us.

Fraser is starting with a series that alternates Tuesdays with Rich’s Gauntlet City Limits series, called Gauntlet City Next. The first game up is Fraser’s cyberpunk game The Veil.

Session 1 is Nov. 8th and is linked below.

Session 2 is Nov. 22nd and can be found here: https://attending.io/events/gauntlet-city-next-the-veil-2-of-2

Gauntlet Hangouts

As you may know, Gauntlet Hangouts is moving away from Meetup to a central calendar located on our website. That calendar can be found here:

http://www.gauntlet-rpg.com/gauntlet-hangouts.html

Going forward, new games will be announced on the Gauntlet Hangouts G+ Community. That community can be found here (be sure to turn Notifications ON when you join):

We will begin announcing games for January 2017 in a couple of weeks. Those games will be part of the RSVP Priority program on Patreon. As part of that program, games will get announced on the $7+ Patreon feed a week before they are announced on G+.

In the meantime, there are lots of games on the calendar for October, November, and December (with more coming soon). Follow the link to the calendar and check out what’s available to play!

Looking for a Halloween adventure on weekday that requires zero prep or game knowledge, and a small time commitment? Look no further! I am running Murderous Ghosts on Wed, Oct 26. The games will run from 630cst to 930cst.

Murderous Ghosts is a two player game. The game takes one hour to play, and I am making three hours available to play with three different players. If you have been wondering what a 1 v 1 game can do, this is a great one to try out! If you would rather scare than be scared, no worries! I will give the option to players to be the ghosts or the one trying to escape their clutches.

Due to recent changes with how Gauntlet organizes games, please post here if you are interested in playing. I have one player already, so that leaves two slots open! I will schedule the one hour of play with players individually within the 630cst to 930cst time slot. Happy Halloween!

WiP is on drivethru now, and apparently all printed stuff on drivethru is going up 10% so I might have to pick up…

Got to play City of Mist run by Lowell Francis and it was pretty dang fun. Victor Wyatt and David LaFreniere and Jason Cox are along for the ride, always a pleasure fellas!

System and mechanics wise, it sure is doing a lot of stuff though, and a ton of basic moves to boot. We will see what everyone thinks next session.

I played a ninja type character and I have loved Saga since it came out so am trying to channel Gwendolyn for my archetype. I’m a teenager in high school hiding the fact that I’m not of this earth, and I’m in love with a boy, and oh yeah, fight crime at night. It’ll be finnnne.

I fricking love Lovecraftesque – another great game with Isa Wills and Robert Ruthven.

We’ll explore the power struggles of the wizards, demons, monsters, and the mortals who have to deal with them in modern Baltimore.

I’ll be running the game through Google Docs, with side chatter, table talk, and rolls in text chat in Google Hangouts.

I’d like to have about 4 PCs. I’d like you to be willing to make 1-2 posts a day, but nothing long– a couple hundred words, tops.

If you’re interested, let me know in the comments and I’ll send you invitations to the play document folder and the Hangout group.

If you have any questions, ask them in the comments and I’ll let you know.
