  1. I don’t think I’ll have time to commit to a PbP game in the near future, but I’m interested in running one at the start of the new year. However, if this gets off the ground, I would like to observe and take notes on best practices!

  3. Michael G. Barford I’m cool with that as long as the players are.

Also, I should mention to all, I intend on checking up 1-2 times a day, definitely 4am and probably 3pm EST.

  5. Chris Shorb Almost. The flow of gameplay is identical. (Incoming over-simplification) It’s a “move-triggering” conversation.

The dice mechanic is different. It’s a small d6 dice pool system more akin to Blades in the dark or Lady Blackbird. It’s explained on page 2 of the playtest version #2.

  7. Daniel Lugo, at the moment I don’t know of a PbP game looking for players, but… I host a Slack team where I’ve been slowly growing a community of players that do PbP, and we use Slack along with Google docs to run the PbP games. We have about a dozen active player currently, and I think there are 3 or 4 concurrent ongoing PbP games. The idea is to have a common pool of folks playing and running PbP games. I’d be willing to invite you (and anyone else out there interested) and you might be able coax someone into running a game.

  9. River Williamson I’m thinking once a day is a fair amount. But I like what those guidelines say. If someone misses, no big deal, Ill just give a nudge. And if that doesn’t work, then the action moves on without that player for the moment.

I’m committed to once daily, but will probably check and/or post twice daily, because I check my G+ constantly anyway.
