Very close to funding – one or two more pledges should do it. I just backed. As an aging punk, how could I not?

Wondering who from the Gauntlet will bring this over the line?

I thought with Origins falling in the middle of the month, I might not get this in. But here we are under the wire. There’s a lot to unpack in these two years. Cyberpunk 2020 sparked a boom in cyberpunk rpgs, for better or worse. We have some innovative games, others that drag in tech elements to make themselves cyberpunk-ish, and a few in desperate need of a proofreader.

Check these out and maybe back my Patreon. I’ve had a good response to these cyberpunk lists, so I’ll continue these for the next few more months. That will let me steel myself for a return to the Universal RPGs lists shudder.

Here is a link to the fourth and final session of Children of the Eight-Legged She. I’m really happy with how this series turned out. It is very much my particular brand of Dungeon World, which is to say more focused on mystery and weirdness than combat and treasure hunting.

Lately, I like fantasy stories about small, complicated communities and how the heroes engage with those communities. I particularly enjoy when the players embrace the collaborative spirit that goes into building and exploring these intricate little places, and really take ownership of the action.

I am lucky to always get a table of resourceful, GGG players, and Children of the Eight-Legged She was no exception. The level of skill and care on display in these sessions is fucking remarkable. Our play culture in the Gauntlet has taken us years to build and perfect, but now that we have it, it’s here for good, and that makes me super-proud.

In that spirit, I’m pleased to announce Andrew Shields will be running five sessions of Maze Rats in the excellent Yoon-Suin setting. The sessions will be Sunday evenings in July. It’s an open table, meaning you can join any or all sessions. I myself will be playing in Sessions 3 – 5.

I’ve only recently discovered the Gauntlet (and am gutted it took me this long to find it). Just wanted to say I love this game of Mercy Falls so much! It’s a really gripping story with great characters, and such generous players. Thanks for sharing!

Personally, I am really proud of the Mercy Falls sessions. They have been some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of.

You can find the whole Mercy Falls saga on our Youtube playlist, linked below, including the full, unedited version of the series currently in the Pocket-Sized Play stream, as well as the follow-up series.

I’m just going to just drop this draft here for now.

I’m just going to just drop this draft here for now. It’s a game about mages who’s magic can do just about anything, but they destroy pieces of their soul in the process. I think once I work out what the MC moves are it would be ready for a rules playtest, but I’m curious what other people think of it so far.
