History of Cyberpunk RPGs (Part Two: 1993-1994)

I thought with Origins falling in the middle of the month, I might not get this in. But here we are under the wire. There’s a lot to unpack in these two years. Cyberpunk 2020 sparked a boom in cyberpunk rpgs, for better or worse. We have some innovative games, others that drag in tech elements to make themselves cyberpunk-ish, and a few in desperate need of a proofreader.

Check these out and maybe back my Patreon. I’ve had a good response to these cyberpunk lists, so I’ll continue these for the next few more months. That will let me steel myself for a return to the Universal RPGs lists shudder.

  1. Jesus H. Christ Cyberworld. I had that book, I was like “Ooh, cyberpunk LARP” and then I was like “Eeeewww. This cyberpunk LARP?”

The book I had is lost to the sands of time now, and a move to a different city.
