Hey Keepers of the Gauntlet and fans of Discern Realities!

Hey Keepers of the Gauntlet and fans of Discern Realities!

Hey Keepers of the Gauntlet and fans of Discern Realities! I’ve been hard at work on a project for over a year and I’m dropping it on you today. Announcing Plundergrounds, a zine devoted to Dungeon World adventures! (Also suitable for Macchiato Monsters and other OSR games.)

Get your hands on the free first issue at my Patreon link below. It’s got 24 pages of politically-motivated intelligent apes, gladiator battles, weird alien tech, and an insane dimensional portal. Yeah, all that, and some cool art by Sean Poppe to boot.

If you enjoy it, subscribe through my Patreon and get issues in every even month of 2017.

Episode 26 was fantastic.

Episode 26 was fantastic.

Episode 26 was fantastic. I enjoyed the New GM conversation and the bronze, silver, gold tips at the end were dead on. Great advice! They were all concepts I have learned from GMing a bunch of one-shots/shorts and a whole array of systems over the last 10 years. But it’s fantastic to hear them from a different perspective and I hadn’t quantified the 7-3-1 bit so tightly, which made it even better/more practicable. I would love to hear more of these, maybe one per show. It made me want to make my own list of things that I do to keep the energy up and make every session totally worth my time and the time of the other players. I love your podcast so much; thanks for putting all the energy into it.
