We’ve been having a fabulous time here in Houston Gauntlet! Wednesday night is the crown jewel of my gaming week, and Tuesday nights has been scratching my tactics itch with Steve Mains running Imperial Assault!

Last week in Wednesday we ran Scott Owen’s Mass Effect World to an singularity ending, and at my table

We played Archipelago, where parrish warren and Daniel Lewis joined me to damn all the elves and watch the rise of the Sea Goblin empire!

Thanks to everyone who came out: Kristen D, aaron mosley, +Andrew Kolb, James Melott, and +Kevin Whitaker for Wednesday, and Jess Scott and Aaron Wilkinson on Tuesday!

I’m getting prep ready for a game of Masks in 2 weeks, and I’m curious how well it holds up for a non-stable cast.

Can it run well if you have a 2-3 core with a rotating extra cast, or is it pretty necessary to have almost everyone for all sessions?

Also, and Jason Cordova I’d be interested in hearing how you handle a unstable crew in a relationship heavy game.

Hey Jason Cordova, they added Bards to AW it looks like.

“You make the noise the dinosaurs heard when they looked up and saw the fireball. Tell the MC that all the NPCs who hear it now form a cult, and ask what they do.”

Reading through a little ‘zine site I stumbled across, figured you’d enjoy this Jason Cordova since you’re so often…

The Gauntlet Houston is hopping even as Spring is beginning to give way to Summer.  We’re continuing our Star Wars Train thanks to Steve Mains with Imperial Assault, where we fight against killer robots and the vicious Door!

Wednesday night continued with space adventures, as Scott Owen leads the charge against physics in Mass Effect World, and Daniel Lewis takes us to picturesque Hertzgoth Manner in Lovecraftesque!

Thanks to everyone who came to either event, and hope to see you next week!
