Had my daughters second birthday party yesterday and the wife and i played some Dungeon World after the guests left. We decided to give “Into The Briarwood” a try. It was allot of fun! Lasted about 2.5 hours.
The big baddie wad Olivander Wickensprout and the quest was for the lost Golden Crystal Chalice. The creature was a 6 legged, mutated one eyed unicorn(we were a bit drunk and tired lol).
So much fun!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it together, and that it is getting use out there in the world!

I’ve been wanting to intro my wife to DW; what’s your experience with getting it to run 1on1?

We do it with great success. I do advise “rail roading” or preping allot more. There are less people to contribute. Time flies aswell. You can get through twice as much story in the same amount of time.
We enjoy it

Also, Into the Briarwood uses cards to randimize the land and fill it with awesomeness. Its a big help getting ideas when there is only one player.
We used squares instead of hexes and rolled 2d4 rather than 2d6 when connecting the terrain
