  1. James Mullen It’s easy to be self-critical when you’re running a game for a big audience, haha (I feel that way all the time on Discern Realities), but I thought it was really solid. It showed a nice interplay between mechanics and fiction, and it got me to want to play the game.

  3. A few episodes in, and I have to say these short AP segments are my favorite part of the show. I often hear people say things along the lines of ‘I wish I could somehow sample this game to see if it’s something I’d like, instead of having to prep & organize a three-hour session.’ To me, these APs are really good samplers.

  5. Cool stuff 🙂 Good point about the APs Jason Cordova, I hadn’t thought about them as tasters for people who are thinking about the game and want to see how it actually operates.

  7. The short APs really are something that makes the podcast stick out and a good way to sample the game. So they fill the intended role.

Looking forward to listening, I have the Hood on my shelf but never got around to playing it.

  9. What I really enjoy in a good AP is not only how the game flows, but a taste of how the GM can put the screws in. Really loved how that cliffhanger came up, felt just like a show closer
