  1. The first playtest went really well!! There were problems of course. Character creation took an hour and people still felt like they did not understand some mechanics well enough to gear their characters towards things. There were also some little blips of issues in the rules. Everyone had a blast though and actually wanted to keep playing for a total of 6 hours. It could have gone for longer too but we were able to wrap up the story in a nice way. I was asked how I’d be publishing it (not for a while). Someone even told me it was one of the con’s highlights for him.

  5. Good to meet you on the last day of Kubla, thanks for telling us about your game it sounds really cool, a level up in game structure and mechanics from most PbtA hacks. Looking forward to the playtest materials. Also in the Bay Area. The theme also made me think of comics like Sandman and The Wicked and the Divine.
