Here are some pics from our last Wednesday game of 2014. We are three sessions into our Monsterhearts campaign and, while I can’t speak for Russ’s table, ours is going very well. The story we’re weaving together is dark and challenging and incredibly disturbing. I’m loving it so far, and can’t wait to see the conclusion in January.

Several of you have expressed an interest in participating in the podcast in some way. The way it will probably work is Dan or I will come up with a topic and then we’ll reach out to the Gauntleteer we feel has the most to offer on the subject. Obviously, if you think of a cool topic, let us know.

Presently trying to find a Call of Cthulhu scenario for tomorrow’s game of Cthulhu Dark. It makes me want to blow my brains out, because there is way too much stuff to choose from. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good CoC scenario that hews to the basic, 1920’s setting?

We had a great weekend of gaming. Our holiday party, the Krampusnacht, was a ton of fun (with a TON of food). We played The Final Girl and Hell 4 Leather during Part 1. For Part 2, we did our Secret Satan gift exchange and then played First Impressions (the dungeon speed-dating game). 

For Story Game Sunday, Doyle ran Puppetland. It’s a great little game, with the unusual conceit that you can never speak out of character when playing. Our story was suitably dream-like, with a bit of a dark edge; made all the better by Doyle’s terrific narration and voice acting.
