I have a player in my DW game who has just inherited a barony. He has seriously stepped in it story-wise but I wonder if anyone has ever used any particular rules for running a keep? It’s an abandoned keep, he has no money, and no retainers (just the other PCs who are ready to leave now, thanks). Is there stuff about this in Perilous Wilds?

Okay, so I’m having trouble with a Charm move for DW. I’ve got a few options, but if you guys could take a look and help me out I’d appreciate it.

The move as it stands is as follows: When Charmed roll +WIS, on a 10+ you shake off the effects, and a miss you are under the charm caster’s control. On a 7-9 choose 2:

— You do not take -1 ongoing against the caster

— You do not have to Defy Danger to attack the caster

— ??? <-- this is where I'm stuck, in case that wasn't clear.

I’m also not TOO happy with the other two choices, because they are basically slight variations on the same effect. HELP!

I have had an idea for this dungeon under a sun dial that is constantly turning and opening some doors and closing off others and I kept thinking, “Dear God, I’m going to have to map this thing.” But now, thanks to this move, I can just throw some fiction at it and let the move do the work. Dreams, Jason! Dreams for you!

My Child Thing character, Scab, in our AW game took the Gunlugger move “Not to be Fucked With” last session. I’m torn now between +1 Weird to +3 and taking Blood Crazed to get 4 harm. Then finding a real machete to get to 5 harm. TORN.
