Hey, friends who like Monsterhearts!

For months, I’ve been considering the idea of a revised edition of Monsterhearts. I’ll talk a little in the comments about some of the things on my to-change list, but more importantly: I’d like to gather some input about experiences of play.

If you’ve played/MCed the game, I’d love it if you could fill it out. Doing so will probably take 10-45 minutes, depending on how diverse your play experiences are and how verbose you get.

(In a way, this is also me testing the waters for whether there’s an enthusiastic market for a second edition. More responses means more confidence about the idea of moving forward.)

Hey Gauntleteers – Gauntlet UK are looking at ways to expand their player base and hopefully the number of games we…

Hey Gauntleteers – Gauntlet UK are looking at ways to expand their player base and hopefully the number of games we run and play too.

The current members think the UK element of our event name may put off potential players because they think it’s an exclusive group for UK only players.

We are currently toying with Gauntlet Europa but again don’t want to exclude anyone outside of that either. Some of us also feel it’s important to clearly explain that we are running games in a different timezone too.

Is it more important to be just be another gauntlet event, i.e. Saturday morning cartoons in order to encourage more players globally or is the geographical location relevant for understanding the time events are likely to run at?

Basically Name suggestions please!

Plus: Any tips for expanding the player base gratefully received!

The Haven guides were very helpful in narrowing the scope for our first attempt and once you got the initial traditions nailed it comes together nicely. Highly recommended. Thanks to my new Gauntlet UK (Europe) buddies Johannes Oppermann​​ and Daniel Adams​​ for a very satisfying game.
