Friends, some time ago I solicited input for my DW Ehdrigohr conversion from one Jason Cordova. His feedback was, “Why would I play anything besides the cool classes?” and “Why not make this a standalone PBTA game?”, to which my feedback was, “Does not compute”.

Thankfully things clicked and, with some wonderful help from the wonderful Joshua Faller, I’m glad to say that Shiver World is nearly playtest-ready! The text is not done and there are still lots of things to tease out and decisions to be made (gender moves? night moves? additions to advancement? blah blah blah?), but I always like input from more experienced PBTA folks. So, if you have a moment, please consider looking over the document and consider playtesting! I’ll be organizing an online session soon(ish).

Ah yes, my birthday party. Few other times of the year grant me the social capital required to force my non-gaming friends to play games with me.

On the docket I have Kaleidoscope (finally!) and Hobbit Tales. Any other easy to pick up story games you all might recommend? If there’s a time, DW or another PBTA game could be fun since they’re pretty intuitive.
