Friday Night Gaming – okay, the 1st one went off pretty well with a Savage Worlds” game, and Jason Cordova is going to run _Dogs in the Vineyard on the 8th. We’ll not be having a Friday game on the 15th since that’s OwlCon. So for Fridays in February that leaves the 22nd.

So the question is: which brave soul is up for running a Friday Night Game on the 22nd?

Hey folks. Kerry was kind enough to shoot me an invite, so here I am. I’m Theron; I’ve been gaming for thirtymumble years now, mostly tabletop RPGs. I live in Pearland and am part of a one regular group, one currently very irregular group, and a third (at my house) that just doesn’t seem to gel.

I also run stuff at Owlcon annually. If you don’t go to Owlcon, you should. It rocks. It’s also three weeks away.

Is anyone interested in one-shot games on Saturday afternoon?

For indie gaming, I have Pantheon by Robin Laws. It is a GM-less game from 2000.

For old-school gaming, I would like to try Heroes of Olympus from 1981. We should be able to create characters quickly and get in a session. Combat has some bidding elements I haven’t seen elsewhere.

Mark Chance Jason Cordova Grant Davis would you guys be interested in doing an every Friday or every other Friday game where we alternate game systems and GMs between sessions? I don’t know about you guys but I love trying new systems and would love to have a regular venue to do so in. So we’d each basically be taking turns running one-shots of whatever system has taken our fancy.

I have played Apocalypse World, Dread and Fiasco and could meet for that. I am also looking to play or run something conventional but non-fantasy. I discovered Dark Conspiracy last year and am itching to try it. I am also liking Shadowrun 4th ed. For story games, I have played and can recommend Grey Ranks, Leverage and Panty Explosion.
