Hey all, does anyone live in the Cypress-Fairfield area? I’m going to be moving there in about 6 months and I’m curious if there are any comic/gaming stores in that area. Especially interested in those with a good boardgame selection.

Shilling for the con. I looked over the listings and am pretty sad that there are no PbtA games running, nor any other story games! I see The Pathfinder Society has a large majority, and someone is even running GURPS!
Definitely check it out if you’re interested in running. There’s even an opportunity to earn a free con pass out of it. Plus, if we can make The Gauntlet a sponsor, it’d be a great way to promote the group.
And if not, there looks to be some fun games. Or at least some great stories about how terrible the games were!

There is a game in the works scheduled to start Sunday 4/27 at 5pm CST featuring the Outbreak: Undead game system by Hunter Books. It is scheduled for a minimal of 3 weeks, mainly as a chance to test the system out and see how well it works (so you need to be able to commit to the 3 Sundays ideally). If you are interested, sign up on the warhorn. I have included the link to the calendar event but I’m not sure if it is accessible. If you post interest here though, I can be sure to send a direct invite.

Oh, and a link to the actual game as I believe they have a quickstart guide as well. I think this game is more crunchy so it might not appeal to many; however, had to throw out the invite.
