One of the more interesting thing about LotFP, is that the default setting is the Pre-Modern world of the 17th century. Accordingly, your characters will be starting in London, circa 1640.
Here is a very interesting re-creation of the London of that era. Try and take a look at it before the game, if possible.

I sat down with my home group last Friday to play Timelines, and we did not have the logistical problems that you guys reported having on the show. (We actually added a rule to increase the variability of the timeline.) I have a few questions regarding how you played.
*How many people were in your group?
*How long did you play?
*How many turns did everyone get?
*To what degree did you roleplay out each scene?
*How did you handle it when someone was on the spot to figure out how two seemingly unrelated events turned out to be correlated?

Looks like I will be running weekly games at the new Geek Life store on Sundays from 7 – 10pm. Two campaigns, on alternating weeks, both highly episodic “arrive and play” style.
First up will be Feng Shui 2E on Nov 1st – I’ll probably do something Halloween themed. After that L5R 4E on Nov 8th.

The UK Gauntleteers will be running some Hangouts games soon. They’re even kicking-off with a solidly British game. I hope there’s tea!

Here is my idea from earlier, in document form. It’s immediately relevant to the people I am currently/soon-to-be playing Dungeon World with (Richard Rogers Yoshi Creelman Jørund Kambestad Lie steven watkins David LaFreniere Doyle Tavener Russell Benner Daniel Fowler Jorge Salazar Jeff Burke), since it will be up to their characters to save up the Coin and get it going. However, anyone who thinks they might join me for a Dungeon World game in the future, or run a Dungeon World game under our banner, will want to pay attention.
As a side note, I think this idea is one of my very best, at least as far as being an organizer of games and gaming communities.
