Robert Ruthven has done an excellent and thorough write-up of Gauntlet UK’s first event of the year, a two-part Dungeon World I ran for them.

The link is to Part One. Be sure to find Part Two, as the finale of the adventure was quite dramatic!

The first Company of the Three Kings adventure, The Dark Shard of Nemrath, wrapped last night.

The first Company of the Three Kings adventure, The Dark Shard of Nemrath, wrapped last night. It was loads of fun. We ended the scenario a little early, so the party made some improvements to the guildhall, including the addition of Nemrath’s Almanac.

We press forward this weekend with The Castle of the Dreaming Doors, and then later in January with our continuation of Bleakwood House, and the start of a new adventure, The Croaking Fane

Thanks to the Fellowship of the Dark Shard: Jeff Burke Aniket Schneider Jorge Salazar Timothy Bennett and Keith Mageau.

I was a guest on a different show! Do you listen to PLOT? It’s one of the other best shows out there, you should.

A new episode of Play on Target: “Old Dogs, New Tricks.” Timely for the end of the year and new resolutions? Who knows! In this episode the inestimable Richard Rogers generously comes in at the last minute when we’re a co-host down. It’s a good episode and I hope you’ll take a listen.

If your New Year’s resolution involves playing more roleplaying games, the Gauntlet has you covered in 2016.

In addition to our normal schedule, Russ and I are noodling over something for Friday nights, starting in February. And Richard Rogers has something very fucking cool planned for the new year. I can’t tell you about it yet (he’d kill me), but I really want to!!

Lots of cool stuff happening in The Gauntlet next year. Get involved! Tell your friends! Hail Satan!

Well, if that isn’t the most eerie fantasy creature I’ve seen I a long time.

I think Gauntlet Hangouts is growing enough to support one or two more weekly games.

I think Gauntlet Hangouts is growing enough to support one or two more weekly games. The demand for some of these events is really high. Any day would be fine, but Friday would be fabulous. Probably a February start.

I already run several games, and I don’t want to ask one of the various podcast co-hosts (they already do a lot for the Community, and some of them are also running games aplenty).

If you think you can commit, let’s chat.
