I’m sure I’m not the only one with this desire, so any help or tips at all would no doubt be appreciated by many:

If you have a significant other who likes some geekdom (books/movies), is there any way you have been able to, in part or in whole, win them over to the hobby? Maybe there’s ONE GAME or type of game they are down to play? Any advice/game recommendations are super welcome. 🙂

So if I ran YET ANOTHER game on Saturdays, early morning, I THINK that is where the demand is. I’m considering ditching the regular mid-week sessions idea in favor of occasional mid-week one-shots (Once I’m done with the White Wizard Sessions) in favor of this. Thoughts?

I’m MCing a chat-based Sprawl game for a few friends on Tumblr, and one of my players drew some cool illustrations of her Hacker, Reina. Rei recently lost her eyes during a mission when she ran into black ICE and hit the Harm move with an 11. She plans to buy herself some new cybereyes with the cred she earns being a badass console jockey.

Happy monday! Just wanted to encourage people in the community who have not joined the “Gauntlets Hangouts” or attended a meetup, but are still thinking about doing it, just go for it.

I just GM’ed for the first time, used roll20 for the first time AND used google hangouts for the first time this past Saturday, and I had a great time.

The players not only contributed to the game with some very entertaining roleplaying, but were helpful in answering my general newbie questions when I hit a snag while running the game.So, to the guys who gamed with me on Saturday, thank you. I’m definately looking forward to the next session.

So, if you aren’t gaming yet, or not enough, get to it!

P.S. I work a fairly late shift on weekdays (5:30pm-2am New York Time), so, if there’s other people like me who are night shift people but want to game, I’m going to try to put something together in the near future, so keep a look out for that.
