  1. Yes indeed! I have (what I think) is a decent fictional way of going about it too which will be very close to what is in the book, but not identical. Also, we will NOT be building the whole world, just the “new world” the adventurers are colonizing and exploring. πŸŒ²πŸŒ³πŸŒΏπŸŠπŸ˜±πŸ†πŸŒΏπŸŒ³πŸŒ²

  3. Well, I’m hoping to do at least a little bit each session. For those interested in the deets, we’ll front load with 1 almanac and 2 abbreviated almanacs, and then we’ll create and fill in more with each adventure/scouting mission/pub conversation (rumor sharing.)

  5. This is so cool! These persistent, hex crawly, open-world kind of games are awesome. It’s something I’ve been missing in the Gauntlet, which I think tends toward a very ephemeral kind of RPG experience.

  7. Yay! I’m glad you think so. I’m hoping it will take off! I wanted to do something in a familiar system, but that uses some of the neglected mechanics in a fun way.

Also, if players get a ton of loot, they can actually use it to buy land and stuff, and add it to the map. Maybe throw in like, a BARON or DUKE compendium class in the future. πŸ’°πŸ˜πŸ’°
