Jason and David’s new Ramshackle Crow AP has me super-nostalgic for the Planescape supplements of my youth. Would there be any interest If I tried to adapt some old Planescape scenarios to Dungeon World in order to run on Hangouts? (It would probably have to be on Thursdays.)

What would be a good way to simulate a game like this?

What would be a good way to simulate a game like this? A RPG with some abstract battle resolution solutions, or a strategic wargame with some RPG aspects to deal with diplomacy and various motivational issues?

1,000,000 Free Images For Your RPG

The British Library have uploaded over a million public domain images to Flickr. They all come from 17th-19th century books and magazines.

The bad news is they are completely unlabelled and cannot be searched in a meaningful way. All they have on the images is the book or work they came from but even searching on this seems broken. The British Library plans to launch an app which crowdsources tagging and labelling next year but until then, it is lucky dip time.

I was thinking of providing a theme to lure the wary gamer out of their dens. Gilligan’s Island seems like a potentially interesting and funny option. Of course, with Risus, anything is possible. Also, anyone who wants to show up and play something else, feel free.

Risus is a great little game. You can play a fun little beer and pretzel game, or play a more serious sort of adventure. The rules are 6 pages long, and they are written in a certain tongue in cheek way, but Risus can be anything you want it to be.
