I just had a hugely entertaining afternoon running Dead of Night for Horst Wurst, Tomer Gurantz and Stephen Humphreys: I want to avoid spoilers, but I will say that it ended with at least one character riding off into the sunset with his high school maths teacher on the back of a giant ant.

Big thanks to Jason Cordova et al for organising the Gauntlet Hangouts and enabling me to connect with awesome players.

  1. Thanks James Mullen for running! Thoroughly enjoyable, and a premise I might steal for an upcoming local game convention.

Nice to reconnect with my sister-in-arms Horst Wurst and Stephen Humphreys.

Like I said after the session, been looking for a game system that in some way mimics the simple pacing and tension tracking of Dread, but in a manner you can play online, and this system felt like it did some of that.

  3. This was absolutely awesome! Seriously guys, if you got the chance to play in a game that James is running, just sign up and thank me later.
