I recently relocated from the Bay Area of California back to Seattle, where I’m from. I had to leave a 10 year standing, four times a month, gaming group in California. I’m looking for advice on finding a local, more indie and narrative focused, gaming group in the Seattle area.
I’ve been to my local comics shop, that hosts a couple of meet ups that are promising. Most of the public stuff I see around is Pathfinder, which I’m not interested in playing. When I do OSR and D&D type stuff, I prefer either modern takes like the Black Hack or things like Dungeon Craw Classics.
My old group had a long running Blades in the Dark campaign and also played a bunch of Apocalypse World derivatives and FATE. These are much more in line with my interests.
Welcome back! Took me years to get my group going. My brother, his girlfriend and some coworkers finally succumbed and played some Dungeon World with me and are now hooked!

I was in a similar situation. Started a Meetup group for Dungeon World, within a year we had over 100 members. You might try the same.

Albert Billings Our Sunday group might be open to a new player. I’ve sent you a hangout invite.
