I just started listening but, from what I’ve heard of The Witcher, Mike Pondsmith has gone on record saying that the primary designer and writer is actually his son, Cody Pondsmith, not himself.
So some of the comments from Lowell make a lot of sense, in so far as why it feels so unpolished and not like Mike Pondsmith design and writing, etc. I think Lisa Pondsmith functions usually as an editor and not a designer, too. Not positive in that one, though.
