Hello everybody! I just ran a game of Monster of the Week and I love it! I had a question though.

Harm is a new thing for me, as are Harm Moves. If I deal 2 harm to someone and their armor reduces it to 0, am I supposed to choose a 0 Harm move or do I pick from the 1+ harm move list? I assume I would pick a 0 Harm move, but one if the Chosen moves threw me off (the one that makes the Keeper have to pick from the next tier down in the harm list). What’s the right play here?

  1. You can also choose those moments to add fear, for example lights go out nearby, get a missed call msg on your phone, cut off scream from down the block.

Also if a monster does little damage vs a hero, sometimes they change tactics and try to capture them, or their friends. Or run off and hide, only to follow the heroes later and trash their house or mess up their neighbours as a warning of escalation.

It depends on how literal you want to take the optinos. Drop something may be You get smacked backwards and almost drop your gun. That choice is how you decide on your tone (things work out vs things don’t)
