Hey All!

Hey All!

Hey All! The whole organizing team wants to give you dreams for an amazing Gauntlet Con 2018. As you know, we’ve been sharing prizes all weekend long, but we’ve got one prize left. A second book from the amazing shelves of the great Jim Crocker (worth up to $25)!

If you attended Gauntlet Con 2018, share a final dream (or dreams) with the G+ Gauntlet Community for your Gauntlet Con GM, another player, or a con volunteer and say what they did that impressed you. We’ll gather up these wonderful pieces of positive feedback and enter each person who posts into a drawing for this kickass final prize.

  1. GauntletCon is simply one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Over the years I have done quite a few physical Cons, but for RPGs none even come close to comparing. The level of the games, the support for the players, and the universal friendship at the table is unlike anything else out there. The Gauntlet does Role-Playing….and we do it fucking well!!

  3. I enjoyed the games and panels I got to see, and I’m still enjoying games and panels I couldn’t personally participate in, since a good portion of those were recorded. My best gaming experience at a con in a long time. Every person I got to interact with, whether at the table or through the discord server or for the help desk was unfailingly pleasant, even when things got frustrating for them. It was refreshing and pretty damn awesome.

  5. I said this on the Discord server but not in the dreams channel, so here it goes: Maria Rivera and Michael G. Barford have been there since I joined the Gauntlet and they always keep the experience so consistent and welcoming to me. Even though I couldn’t play for most of the con (got really bad allergies) every time I went on Discord to see what was going on I got to interact with them and they were always being helpful to people looking for games or experiencing issues. Keep being awesome, you two 🙂

  7. I want to thank everyone that volunteered for the help desk. Throughout the con they did an amazing job helping with technical issues as well as with game organization.

  9. Dreams to Kate Bullock for facilitating Fall of Magic so late on Sunday. She was clearly under the weather and went the extra mile. A few of us didn’t want it all to end and Kate made it go out on a bang. On the Discord I gave dreams to everyone Kate included for an all around wonderful gaming experience. Right now is to say, thank you and I hope you recover from the con crud soonest. 💖🥇

  11. My final Con dreams go to Jason Cordova, Kate Bullock, River Williamson, Richard Ruane, Maria Rivera, Lauren McManamon, Yoshi Creelman, and the Help Desk folks for all the hard work (and fires extinguished), behind the scenes and making Gauntlet Con a success!

  13. I want to give a dream to every single person who interacted with me during the con, because I did not have one bad experience. Every single person I met was kind, generous, thoughtful, and fun! I have the con organizers to thank for facilitating those interactions, and the community organizers for making the Gauntlet a place that draws those sorts of individuals. And an extra special batch of dreams to everyone who reached out to me after the con to chat, feel, rave, and commiserate. I value your friendship.

  15. Prizes to all the fantastic organizers like Richard Ruane, Yoshi Creelman, Jason Cordova, Lauren McManamon, and the many, many others that fixed things for the con before I even noticed. I am amazed at how easy and smooth an online convention like GauntletCon seems to work.

It’s an amazing community, and I am constantly amazed that the number of fantastic players, GMs, organizers, and people that get together because of this group!
