Hi Marco, welcome to the Gauntlet. The German chapter is growing significantly and indeed the first non-English games on the official calendar were in German. We also use the Gauntlet Slack (where we have a separate channel in German with ~19 people) to organize pick-up games.
I personally have an ongoing series called Indie Schwarze Auge in German in which I offer various Indie games but re-located to Aventurien. See some of my previous sessions on my Youtube: youtube.com – betafunktion
All Gauntleteers are very forgiving in terms of languages. People come from all over the world. I played my first games in English with the Gauntlet and didn’t expect it to be so easy (as you can hear in my English sessions, my English is still lacking).
One general note: there are no groups at the Gauntlet. The games are all open table like at a convention. Everybody can sign up for any game. Which is really cool. Check out the separate G+ Community ‘Gauntlet Hangouts’ in which all the games are announced.

I’ve played with people who speak English as a second (or third, etc.) language via Gauntlet Hangouts and have enjoyed the experience a lot! I am sure others are open to the same. If you prefer gaming in German, then Gerrit Reininghaus runs such games. Anyway, hopefully I’ll see you in a future game! 🙂

Wow, cool, dass du direkt Lust bekommen hast, es zu probieren. So bist du nur ganz knapp an der ersten Gelegenheiten zu spielen vorbeigeschrammt: gerade eben läuft Gauntlet Games Now. Ein neues Format, bei dem man spontaner zusammen kommt und in Sessions gelost wird. So habe ich eben Digimon gespielt, ein 1% Hack mit Digimon Trainern (zur Wahl stand sonst noch Apocalypse World, Zombie World und Dialect). Wird sicher wiederholt.
