Dreams!

Dreams!

Dreams! share them! I love to hear everyone who has them for everyone and everything Gauntlet is doing at this time!!!!

My dreams to josh gary who ran an outstanding two month series of DW. Josh started this as an extension of a “The Wall” DW supplement that mimics the wall experience from A Song of Ice and Fire, while still demanding that the DW players invent most of the content of what the DW “Wall” means. For example, our “Wall” is in a jungle and is a giant cover of ancient bones of creatures no longer in existence that keeps the dangers out.

After the sessions exploring the DW characters who had experiences at the wall, Josh explored what those characters experiences would be in the middle of the kingdom, years later, if the those same characters were ordered to try and recruit from the middle kingdoms of safety. Great sessions one and all!!!

Dreams to all characters in Josh’s games and particularly to James Sweetland and geek4x4@gmail.com who played characters! Of course, if anyone wants more details and wants the fastest response possible, reach out to me; I will try to answer as quick as humanly possible. My email is David.lafreniere13@gmail.com.

  1. Dreams to +WillP_design for his help in organizing the Gauntlet Blog, and all of those who have contributed to it thus far. There has always been an aspect of the community that is present, ethereal, of the moment, but having the blog to etch our collective wisdom into stone for posterity is very beneficial.

  7. Dreams to my recent players of MR-KR-GR for helping me test a thing when my game design fears were creeping. Ellen Saxon for worshiping the crocodiliads and trusting me with her Lines, Ary Ramsey for negotiating for spirit mangoes and offering great feedback, and Lauren McManamon for bringing back to life Panya the shitwizard and for very inspiring design and life pow-wows after the fact. MUCH LOVE!

  9. Dreams to Patrick Knowles for being an awesome player and even better person. I always love seeing when you’re going to be in a game with me because you’re so bold with your characters, and play off others so well.

Dreams to Lowell Francis, a super GM and friend. You consistently make a safe space for play and politely administer the table so we all get a chance for fun, which is a real challenge.

Dreams to my last Star Wars Saturday crew of Pawel Solowczuk, blaise hebert, Ary Ramsey, Walter German, and Keith Stetson. In three weeks, we told this super story, which is always the goal. But even more, between sessions, we were chatting about our excitement on the G+ Event invite and it kept me pumped up and looking forward to each session.

Dreams to Ryan Macklin for running Katanas and Trenchcoats for me, Jason Cox, and Mike Espinoza. What a crazy game!

Dreams to Jesse Ross, a thoughtful, creative, and wonderful person. My friend, I adore our conversations and love working with you.
