Also do you need to be a certain level patreon supporter to run/play games?

The answer to the second question: No, but Patrons (of any level) do get RSVP priority for signing up to play.
First question: we’re going to have a manual that will go through some of that stuff, but ultimately it boils down to GM choice. We will have instructions in place assuming Google Hangouts + Google Drive + our custom die roller. If you choose to use Roll20 or something else, it’s your responsibility to know how it works and convey that to players.
