  1. James Majure I bought the pdf. I would like to run it. Like Blades in the Dark, SCUP isn’t written towards one-shot play. Not saying it could not be done, but a lot of design was put into longer play. It may be cool to do the session zero mini-game where you build the mythos of the world for an off week of the WNG…?

  3. What I tend to do for one shots is:

    1) Pregen setting.

    2) Start all characters with an advance or two.

    3) Center it around a big climactic event already in motion that all the characters are plugged into.

    4) Push right to dramatic action.

But yeah. Campaign play is often more satisfying!

  5. Softcover print on demand coming soon. If there’s a hardcover print on demand, it will actually take a bit longer because Drive Thru requires different size files for hardcover than softcover so it might need to be relaid out. I’ll keep folks posted.
