  1. Jason was a little low in the audio mix on this episode and David was a little high. I realize nothing can be done about it at the moment but I wanted to give the feedback for future episodes!

  3. Jesse Abelman Well, curiously, I had the best use of Parley in probably 700 sessions of DW in yesterday’s Songs of the Shadow Court game, but the circumstances were really right. Generally, I find the circumstances where the fictional back and forth of the Parley move make sense simply don’t come up very often (not in my games at least). It’s working for Songs of the Shadow Court so far because those characters are more like spies and operators who are leaning more on social manipulation and negotiation to get things done.

  5. Jason Cordova I hear that. I find (as a player) that when you need to deal with social situations, it does a really good job of providing fictional footing for a conversation that makes sense, whereas if you’re leaning heavily on DD: Cha for persuasion, the fiction feels less relevant, and it really all on turns on the dice roll, which is less satisfying.
