  1. I thought it sounded cool when it popped up on Kickstarter, but I read through the quickstart material & was SUPER unimpressed. As I remember, the basic moves were very AW-standard & at least 3/4 of the playbook moves were either “+1 to X situation” or “replace stat A with stat B for move C”. I found myself wondering why I couldn’t just do a mythical ancient Roman setting in AW or DW.

  3. I’ve got it. It’s professionally assembled. It doesn’t bring a lot that’s new. Ruma = Roma, there’s historical accuracy. It’s a fine base if you want to import other things from DW to add some mystery, intrigue, etc. Very few opponents are described. I’m happy to have backed it but it won’t hit my table.
