I’m going to “pretty this up” tonight, but I’d love to hear feedback and possible tweaks from as many of you as possible before I do so.

Great stuff. The red and green dive fit really well. I didn’t find anything that stood out as ‘off’.
I like the setting generator. Is that inspired by Lasers and Feelings?

Hahahaha (or should I say Hohohohoho)! That’s really fun! I guess my only comment would be to spell out the mechanics for “ending a day” a little more. I didn’t quite understand. So the dice coming up the same will change the day but you might prevent it with magic dust unless they come up that way again?

No that’s inspired by Honey Heist… I meant to include that in the document. It will be on the final version.

Logan Howard, yes Meta-magic Dust may help prevent the end of day, but that’s not its only use (simply rerolling a really bad role is too).
The Calendar is meant as a “Doom Counter”, but also adds fiction (describing how you can’t sleep). Can you think of ways to clean it up a bit?

Does this make it any easier to understand Logan Howard, or is it just a different way of saying the same thing?
“If both dice ever show the same facet (a tie regardless of modifiers, and after a Meta-magic Dust reroll)…”

Brian Holland The clock mechanic is great. It was just the tidy way you explained the die-roll-day-change part that left me a little less confident. I don’t think you have to change the way it works at all. Just expand the explanation a touch. Although I figured it out, it would be even stronger if everyone reading it feels confident that they understand it the first time.

AGREED Logan Howard! Here’s another tweak…

On the calendar, does Santa continue to get +1 to rolls after the third night and then has +2 after the sixth or does he only get +1 during that night? If it’s the first, you might show it like this:
0, 0, +1, +1, +1, +2, +2

Yes, and that’s a great way to show it. Thanks Logan Howard! Although since it happens after every third night, it would be 0, 0, 0, +1, +1, +1, +2. Maybe call it “Santa’s” Confidence?

Brian Holland Have you play-tested it? Were the players able to win?

I updated the PDF link with tweaks…
Logan Howard yes, 2 out of 3 times they won with some timely use of Meta-magic Dust, and one really well-played use of the Meta-magic aptitude. The Tall One Magic Dust Sprinkler still couldn’t quite reach a latch on a gate that an olympic pole vaulter had placed, (modified Green 4, Red 5) so Dave (the player) grabbed the empty kitchen chair beside him and said “Here, let me stand on this”, modifying the result to a Green/Red tie. He got the latch open, but “Santa” sent an olympic sprinter after him to chase him down. (“Olympics” for the Five Golden Rings was my son’s idea BTW).

I added two links in the OP. One is a b&w file and the other is a color. Enjoy! Now it’s time for Dust, Fog and Glowing Embers!!
