As part of the Black Friday Sales (which are apparently a thing in the UK now, despite not celebrating US Thanksgiving) I picked up a Blue Snowball to replace crappy Condenser microphone.
My Goodness, the difference in sound quality is amazing.
Anybody have any advise how to get the best sound quality out of this microphone?
I’m conscious that my fans on my computer are not that quiet. Is there any way to do noise reduction in live hangouts with this?
If it’s anything like my Blue Yeti, I turned the gain down pretty much all of the way and that was very helpful.

A DIY pop filter and a reflection filter wouldn’t be too much work, and you can also hang up a duvet behind you. If you’re a cheapskate like me at least 😹
