  3. Colin Niaudet The $7 Patreon level gives RSVP priority to most games on the Gauntlet Hangouts calendar. That RSVP priority period is usually for about a week, after which anyone can sign up. Practically-speaking, since most of the games fill during that one-week period, having a $7 Patreon spot is the best way to get into the games (although the Waitlists sometimes open up).

    As for the necessity of the $7 Patreon level at all, it basically boils down to: I believe people are more serious about things they pay for.
