  1. Are we doing sequels?

    Blood 2:

    … This Time its Personal!

    … Season of the Vampire!

    … Evolution!?

    … Return to Blood Lake!

    … 2 Bloody, 2 Sanguinius!

also, cant wait for Upside-down / inverted theme (I want to play DW in a hollow earth!

  3. Jason Cordova It seems like “Faith” could suffer from a bit of an attempt to show how “systemic faith” has led to darker outcomes when that hasn’t always been the case. That is all I meant by my comment about giving “faith” a “fair swing.”

  5. David LaFreniere With the exceptions of Blood & Crystal, the themes aren’t usually so literal. I think you could probably take “faith” in a dozen different directions. But, if we’re being honest, you’d be hard-pressed to find a roleplaying game about religion that isn’t critical of it (DitV, Witch, Montsegur 1244, the list goes on and on). Storytelling needs conflict, and that’s a pretty easy one.

  7. Jason Cordova faith often means specific things to people. But you are probably right. Anyways, this doesn’t seem like the best place to guess about this! Let’s see what gets voted for!

  9. David LaFreniere When I pitched it, I was thinking of “faith” in the sense of “believing something will come true against all odds and evidence.”

  11. Faith could be in…

    your companions

    your skills

your plea (see wind god shrine)

What we see as faith (belief with evidence) doesn’t exactly play into settings where gods, angels, etc. walk amongst mortals.

  13. Jason Cordova In that case “Hope” would encapsulate the theme better. Since “Faith” has both connotations of fervor, orthodoxy, and blind trust.

Lies is an easy slam dunk, emphasizing the interpersonal nature of play.
