There is an episode where Jason explains how he uses Cthulhu Dark to build his mysteries and I can’t seem to find it. Can anyone help me track it down?

I found one talking about Cthulhu dark confidental but there’s another where he discusses how he uses the dark depths supplement to guide pacing of the mysteries.

Yeah I totally know what you’re talking about. I can’t remember either.

I remember that one, it was episode 77: gauntlet-rpg.com – Episode 77 – City of Mist, Dark Depths
Though I do also remember Graham saying Dark Depths never actually worked for himself and he’s replaced that system with something else in the new Cthulhu Dark book.

Thank you for the find!
I’m working my way through cthulhu dark zero right now. Its a great book but I was looking for the dark depths procedure and was confused when I coudln’t find it.
I can understand why its better without the procedure, but my lizard brain really enjoys counting events and scenes. Using that logic for pacing, even if its just a placebo, helps me feel better about conducting a mystery.

I feel you – I really liked the Dark Depths procedure, too, though I never actually used it to run something yet. It seems like such a nice, short, step-by-step thing.

I love the Dark Depths procedure. I also use it for Lovecraftian games that aren’t Cthulhu Dark.
