Hi everyone! On Saturday, which was International Tabletop Day, I released a completely free Quickstart for The Veil’s upcoming supplement called Cascade. It’s got pre-filled out playbooks, two of which are brand new and in playtest, some quick setting fluff for a scenario that is inspired by Ghost in the Shell, and a new mechanic for flashbacks that help players get XP.
In Cascade, I’ve changed Beliefs out for Questions, and when you answer these questions much the same way as Beliefs, you get XP. It’s player facing, it’s emergent, and I’m really excited about it.
