  1. I loooved this episode. I was immediately thinking about that game where my fireball spell went awry and killed two children, in one of the more darker series I participated in. But on the last session (I think?) Jason introduced an NPC that was the mother of the children comforting me. It was so good. And there was this tension as to if I was going to tell the mother what had happened. I remember being super conflicted as to what I was going to do.

  3. Great episode…. I’ve wanted for a while a sticker/ribbon or something to put on my Con badge that says something like, “Free hugs”, “Huggable”… I’ve thought about a shirt… but I would want something that works no matter the shirt…

  5. Great episode! It got me thinking of intimacy dice from My Life with Master by Paul Czege. You get one kind of die for being intimate, and a bigger one for sincerely pouring your emotional guts out.

  7. I’m just listening to this episode now. One thing I really like in some of the more traditional LARP designs is making (literal) spaces for small intimate moments. By having lots of rooms (or by playing in the woods) with games of 30+ people you can have some of the main “action” (which can just ultimately be larger groups of people talking) and then people naturally break off into small groups to have what I find the most rewarding roleplaying experiences I’ve ever had. And the neat thing is it’s less explicitly designing for it, and more just gently nurturing and allowing those sort of moments to happen naturally.
