I’ve checked my thrice-indexed ledgers and gone down to the Apparatus to confirm the readings. This is what it’s telling me: There are people who like gnomes. Surely one of you is among these specimens; would you be so good as to relate to me why you love these little creatures. What’s the best thing about them?

weird magical goblins with minds not quite rooted in reality, a size in contrast to personality, simultaneously cute and creepy, a nice alternative to hobbits when you are feeling like tolkien missed the whole point of the wee folk. awesome hats. have you seen aubrey plaza’s performance as hawaiian coffee. that’s a gnome, like, none of it makes sense, except to the gnome. they are the unhinged gonzo childlike weirdos of any world. they belong anywhere, everywhere, hiding in your house stealing pens and important pieces of paper and car keys all to construct a prototype of their gabage tardis, but then they get distracted and start a new project.
