Wind on the Path

Jonathan Lavallee has written a really cool dueling samurai game for Codex – Iron, to be played at conventions or other places where people gather. The idea is your samurai engages in duels with other samurai they encounter. If they win a duel (and survive), their stats get better, but they also gain more renown, meaning the next samurai knows more information about them, which they can use to their strategic advantage. Death is always a moment away, and you have to know when to back down or when to strike. It’s a clever, well-executed concept, and I can’t wait to share it with you guys.

Also: check out the terrific art we have commissioned from Randy M.

  1. looks cool but the perspective seems a little weird. is the brown armored guy furthest up the path gigantic or is the black armored guy at the bottom of the path tiny?
