  1. David LaFreniere regarding your new intro style for your Anglekite first sessions: Have you consider hacking the Get the job move from The Sprawl?

The interaction you described with the King of Anglekite and his lackeys feel like they could be tied nicely with a custom move like that instead of multiple Defy Danger with Charisma.

  3. David LaFreniere it goes like this:

When you negotiate the terms of a job, roll Edge.

10+: choose 3 from the list below

7-9: choose 1 from the list below

the employer provides useful information ([intel])

the employer provides useful assets ([gear])

    the job pays well

    the meeting doesn’t attract attention

    the employer is identifiable

  5. I really enjoyed Ray’s Plundergrounds zine about apes; I could see running it for three or four sessions and having a blast. It’s free, so there’s no excuse, folks! I’m also keen to see what Karl Stjernberg comes up with for the next issue; everything since Rad Hack has been so creepy-beautiful.

Aww! The infamous card game of Two-step got a mention! To be fair, in low-stakes games, people only wager fingers and toes.

  7. Jason Cordova, David LaFreniere:

I assume there is plenty of editing happening for the AP (for This podcast and comic strip ap) to sound as good as it does. But I was wondering if you (or anyone) had any tips for improving npc dialog. Namely, removing the “uh”, “um”, “like you know”s. Might be a good bit for the podcast.

  9. Yeah we started having to do a bit more editing on the AP, but we got used to it and had a couple conversations about intentionally avoiding some phrases. Nowadays I have very little editing for the AP portion

Glommed onto Discern Realities a month or two ago and have been working through them and picking up a pile of tips and tricks to add into my games, so I’ll get to this one in due course but just wanted to say thinks for the shows to date.

    Cheers
