Episode 75 of The Gauntlet Podcast is here!

Episode 75 of The Gauntlet Podcast is here! Join Richard Rogers Andrea G Lowell Francis and myself as we discuss our week in games. In this strangely sports-heavy episode, Lowell gives a sneak-peek at his plans for the Gauntlet Wrestling Federation, and Rich revels in your Gauntlet City mascot ideas.

Thanks to Steve Mains for the edit this week.

  1. You are far too kind! Great to hear some enthusiasm for The Indie Hack.

If Rich is up for it, I could run a nice little grim campaign for +1 Forward.

  3. So 3rd ep of Pitch and it’s still killing it for me. I think it’s got some really human and touching moments. And I now have 3 friends on Facebook who don’t even like baseball at all, who love and watch the show because they love Ginny as a character, all of whom are women. I imagine they really are tapping into something that hasn’t been before as there’s certainly not another show with this strong of a female lead not centred around dudes that is also an athlete. After the women killed it in the Olympic Games too, I think it’s really great this show is happening and is so good without just blatantly pandering.

I had a great time on TIH. That was one trippy time cube thingy. And lavender the mule’s judge of character was infallible!

Godbound is really appealing to me because of your ability to effect and change the world. I felt really heroic and like our story actually had an impact and was about something, which was really natural with the mechanics. Totally would play that some more, and think we will continue that game at some point.

I’ve never played World Wide Wrestling and know nothing about it but I’d sure like to try it out sometime so this league thing sounds neat!
