It’s the latest episode of Pocket-Sized Play, and the foray into Beyond the Wall comes to a head! Low fantasy turns high and village life gets mighty dangerous.

Beyond the Wall is by John Cocking and Peter Williams at Flatland Games. Thanks as always to our players, Timothy Bennett, Saffire Rainbo, and Tor Droplets, and extra big ups to Timothy and Tor for the edit! 🙂

  1. Fraser Simons This was the INTENSE episode! I’m curious if listeners from previous episodes felt like this was a dramatic shift in tone from where we started this campaign.

  3. Mmm well there was some pretty cute stuff as well with Saffire at the beginning, I think it fit the story well though. It was a shift but it felt natural and even more intense since I’m very attached to the characters now so it was a good time to shift imo. Loved it! And like I said, still got some cute in there with running along and hopping for animal to animal and such.

  5. Joshua Faller Thank you! That means a lot. We definitely come at this from a narrativist background, so we angle for the mechanics to help us tell a story.
