  1. Thanks so much for including Vin Moves! Really glad you liked the project.

You’re right, that mark XP mechanic was taken right from your podcast. I actually mention it in a blog post for a similar move, Compelled Betrayal: “I’m stealing an idea I heard on the Discern Realities podcast about mind control, which is giving the players XP if they decide to play into it.”

I have to admit I’ve only listened to the Vin Moves part so far but I’m looking forward to listening to the rest on my way to work tomorrow đŸ™‚

Also, I’ve just put up a site today for my next DW project if you want to check it out: http://bindingworld.vindexus.net

  3. Yoon-Suin was so fun! All the characters were so great and the city was really cool. It really felt adventurous just in the fact the city and culture were so out there and interesting!

World of dungeons is really neat because the design goal was for people to make their own Dungeon World basically, if I’m recalling correctly anyways. You only begin with Defy Danger and then, as the group is going about and doing things in the fiction and find they’re often up to something in particular, you make another custom move for that thing and add it to your game as a basic move. So in the end you get a DW customized to that group. It’s such a cool design goal and we found out just how much mileage you can get from the die of fate and one move.

In short sessions I don’t think you’re going to be making those custom moves, but it would be kind of neat if you continued to run World of Dungeons and sort of created your own DW with it, Jason.

Those entries are really dang cool!

  5. Hi, I’m new here and are listening in on all the older episodes and they are all great! Thanks for the show. One question: in the episode you say that you will post all the texts somewhere. Do you know where I can find them? I would so much like to use them for inspiration for my Symbaroum goes Dungen World campaign coming up soon đŸ™‚

    Thanks again! Jason Cordova
