Been browsing Amazon, I’d like to find some good solid tokens as “fanmail” for when I’m playing and want to give a small note to someone that I enjoyed their scene.. I’ve been using these hard plastic tokens that normally are parking chips at work, but I have only 9 of them.
What do you like to use as tokens for your games? Do you prefer something of note, or something subtle?
Is this a thing the player gets to keep at the end?

I use hanafuda when I play Golden Sky Stories in person. They’re pretty and usually a sturdy cardstock or plastic. I picked mine up on Amazon!

Having them be a physical item they can keep would be interesting! But it was mostly just going to be a table prop I’d toss back into a bag once the session was over. I always liked the idea of fanmail and just giving someone a heads up of “that was a great scene” so I’d like to do it more at the table. Plus I have a bad memory, so trying to remember at the end of a 3 hour session can get foggy.

For an M&M game I used little colored glass blobs such as would be used in the bottom of an aquarium to note injuries and hero points. In Fate we’ve used poker chips.
