Gauntlet Portland ROCKED IT tonight. A group of strangers, bound only by listening to Gauntlet podcasts, descended to play Adventures on Dungeon Planet by Red Box Vancouver. With no shortage of Dungeon World hacks, I can safely say this retro-sci-fi reskinning is one of my favorites.
Meet: A mutant white ape in search of friends, an android killbot exploring to find his lost creators, a calculating technician championing the art of rational thought, and a lost Earthling with the means to repopulate a planet.
Sweet! I think I did purchase that one. I’ll have to give Dungeon Planet a Whirl for sure.

So close yet so far. I wish there was a Guantlet Seattle.

Sean Looney Hit me up if you’re in Portland and we’ll organize a limited-edition Meetup! And next time I’m in Seattle, which is often, expect to hear from me! 🙂

Daniel Lugo Definitely do! This supplement is nicely balanced: It supports lots of new setting and mechanics without too much bloat, and is just so richly full of flavor and design.Space Wurm vs. Moonicorn has been deservedly getting lots of love lately, and Adventures on Dungeon Planet should be right up there with it.
