  1. So, it sounds like LotFP and Death Frost Doom are in that category of OSR adventures classified as “unwinnable”. Is that the appeal? I’ve never played it, so I don’t have first hand experience, but what’s the draw?

  3. Edward Hickcox Like Steve said, it’s got a great vibe and it can be used to kick off a campaign. With some small adjustments, it can be easily woven into an existing campaign, too.

  5. Even though it is certainly unwinnable in the sense you can’t clear it out, there can still be campaign-related things the players need to retrieve or destroy.

  7. Between chatter about this on the podcast(s), this post, the Bundle of Holding, and my pre-GenCon excitement, I purchased Death Frost Doom, and have been reading it while refreshing the Google Doc.

    Thanks for being awesome.

  9. Hey, sorry to necro this thread, but is it still possible to get those conversion notes somewhere else (since the original link 404s)? I’ve been wanting to convert some of Chris Kutaliks Hydra collective modules, and I thought these notes might be useful.
