Episode 55 of The Gauntlet Podcast is here! This one was really fun to record, and I think you guys are going to like it. Steve Mains, Richard Rogers and myself hit a new stride in terms of our chemistry, and I think the show is that much better for it.

  1. Just for Steve Mains, we’ve added a short example on Leaping to Conclusions to the draft rules. (Almost too late, as they’re in layout even as I type!)

We’ve also purloined the gestures for online play 🙂

  3. I love hearing about other people’s family games. Richard Rogers, that DW story is hilarious and inspiring.

And I’m glad to hear that the finger gestures worked.

  5. Funny that you should mention my dice luck, Steve Mains. I was in a Deadlands game last weekend with a great GM, and the first scene consisted of a Stagecoach crash.

Guess who failed all his rolls, and spent all his Bennies to basically “not die”? This guy!

And I was the healer in the group!

This means I had a penalty to heal of like -6 (on a d6), so the group was hosed!

Luckily, I didn’t jinx the entire adventure… my broken character was just another challenge!
