Just now seeing all the flooding in Houston. Be careful out there, guys. The roads are extremely treacherous.

  1. My first thought was “I hope Jason Cordova is OK!”, thencI remembered you’re in New Jersey now.

Then I remembered there are other people on the show that actually do live in Houston.

  3. Yeah, it can be really scary. I was there the last time the city flooded, and one of the worst things is you often can’t tell just how deep the water is on a particular stretch of road. It may only look a few inches, but will actually swallow your car.

  5. Yeah this flood is a real doozy.  The talking heads and saying it’s a 500 year one.  And from what the OEM and forecasters are reporting it’s not over yet.  But as has become typical of Houston floods it seems, it’s almost always areas of the city that haven’t flooded before – I blame the never ending construction.
