Jason Cordova I love that you love your own show! 😉

Eric Farmer Well, it’s really more David’s show, from a production standpoint. He thinks of the topics and edits it. I’m just on it.

Great show, love Daniel Fowler’s items, perilous wilds seems perfect for something I’m running and the AP enjoyable as always.

I don’t necessarily agree that the MC/GM should always be the one to call for a roll. In theory, that’s good, but in practice each class is going to have their own unique moves, and more and more of them as they advance in level. It’s too much for one person to keep in mind. And I don’t think players driving toward and suggesting rolls for moves they have in mind is a bad thing.
So long as they don’t touch the dice until they say what they’re doing in the fiction, I won’t have to rap their knuckles with a ruler.

Fair enough Steve. Definitely is a good call to have players let the GM know when they are angling for the move. It’s super helpful to hear that and have the player read it for you.

Steve Mains That’s definitely true. I don’t memorize the playbook moves, and I do expect the players to tell me what they’re angling for after they narrate. When I say “call for the move,” I probably more accurately mean “decides whether you get your move.”

Jason Cordova Yeah, that I can get behind.

I just wanna let David LaFreniere and Jason Cordova that I love this show. I listen to a large number of podcasts and this one has jumped right into my “listen when it drops list”. Thanks for creating this.
